21 degrees after weeks of rain and snow!

Blue skies welcomed us to the roads from Revel to Ariege, the sun got warmer and the skies bluer....we crossed the plains and started the climb out of Guillan up to Col de Pailheres and, as you can see from the photos, we were welcomed by wild horses who managed to box in Perrig Guemneur at one point, as others trotted next to Pierrick Fedrigo to test their skills.

I just eased through certain portions of the road with the car and at 2kms from the top we were stopped by 2m of snow being vacuumed up and sprayed onto the road side.

Tomorrow - Pamiers to Luchon over 3 cols....we'll see what's in store!
