i did my first kettlebell workout last night. quite painful. i figured my legs would be fine and my arms would give out but my legs were aching and crampy the whole time. just as long as my butt looks like the instructor's after a month or so.

What weight did you get? I always want to get one but give up when I see the prices they want for them.

i took the class at the ymca. the class was all women so i grabbed the biggest weights i could find. just kidding. i grabbed a small and a medium. i didn't look at the numbers. my legs are still sore but not as bad as yesterday. one thing i lack (along with a lot of other things) is power. being tall and sitting in a more upright position makes me a good draft but a slow rider in any kind of headwind. i'm hoping the kettlebells will help with that.
