Headed to J Pow's cross camp held at the Oscar Blues farm for the next 3 1/2 days, starting today through Sunday, the day of his race. I don't know anything about cross never raced it but my intention was to race cross this year, and I thought this would be a great way to learn something. I have to admit I'm a bit nervous. But I'm sure that will all end the moment the tires hit the dirt and the fun factor kicks in. Butt on the saddle, and a smile on the face. Oh and WHAT a value $695 I think it was includes meals race entry bbq ect. A private 6 hour ski lesson at Breckenridge with a first year instructor costs $800 + 160 for a lift ticket plus lunch$.

I believe that is "Oskar Blues" with a K. (With most of a bicycle in $$s invested in Oskars, I should know. Lee Oskar is a great harmonica player - War, etc. - and has had his line of world class harmonicas for the past 35 years. And did for harmonicas what SunTour did for rear derailleurs. A game changer. I have and play 20 year old Lee Oskars. The harmonicas they replaced had often 5 hour life spans.
I am deeply indebted to Mr. Oskar (though I am paid up in full for his harmonicas).

should be cool. Not everyone is born with the knowledge of how to ride an off-camber turn on wet grass while cross-eyed. It'll be good to have a qualified teacher when starting from scratch.
