I've been using the same brand of chain lube - Dumonde Tech - for the past 20+ years and my latest bottle is about out, and I am thinking of trying something new. I like what I have, but should learn about possible alternatives. Any recommendations? Gracias!

Friend of mine turned me on to Rock n' Roll Gold. I use the Gold for MTB and gravel, and the RED variety for road. I've been pretty impressed so far.
I did venture into the whole waxing thing about a year ago. Not worth it at all. Was trying the WendWax 'deodorant' method and it is absolutely silent for the first 40 miles. After that, a serious pain and it's a mess with bunch of black gunk chunks.
It's seriously easier to just replace the chain every 1,000-1,500 miles assuming you can find one. I've actually had incredibly good luck using an XTR 12-speed chain on my Dura-Ace 11-spd stuff. Crazy as it sounds, it's super quiet and works great.

I'll check out Rock n' Roll.
I've had great luck with chain longevity thus far with the Dumonde Tech.

Ditto. Or you can make your own with synthetic motor oil and mineral spirits. That’s the Sam’s club option if you’re running a fleet

I haven't tried it, but I heard that diesel fuel works as a good chain cleaner and lube using the "remove chain and shake in a can" technique.

Ditto on the Rock n' Roll. They also make a blue version that is really good for the dirt. I also use the red for the road and it really keeps the mess to a minimum.

Also used Rock & Roll Gold a fair amount.....no complaints, except on dry, dusty gravel where it seems to fade out pretty quickly....but almost any lube does in thsoe conditions.
Been using Muc-Off Ceramic Dry Lube lately.....also very good. Seems to last a bit longer than the Rock & Roll Gold. Would recommend this one as well.
Just say "NO!" to WCP!!!!

I have tried almost every lube out there, including making my own homebrew when I ran a shop, and I have found nothing that works better than Chain L. It lasts a very long time in all conditions and runs wicked quiet.

This post may be buried. Not too much activity in the MB threads. Maybe repost in a more active thread?
btw, I still haven't tried diesel.
