Just asking 'cause my work history and two fingers of good scotch mean that my gutter language skills are coming to the fore.

Ancnoc. It's nice. I had a bad day yesterday. Work was fine and I left early to pick up a new fork for the 29er. Shop erred and the fork was for 26. No worries. Went for a ride. Dropped down a rocky trail and derailed off my single ring with a clutch derailleur and chain guide. Get out tools to get things going again and decide to air up a bit as I bottomed coming down. Remove pump and the valve core comes out. Followed by all the air. Fuck. It did it a second time. As the French say double merde. The bit on a Lezyne mini tool has a notch that fits a valve core so I did learn something which is a positive but by this time for whatever reason the tires is leaking at the bead. Sweat that dripped off my head onto the wheel is bubbling at the bead rim interface and I notice that the red rim strip has moved and is sticking out. Crap. Take the easy way back to the car get lost in doing so. But the drive home leads to excruciating pain on my left arm that I have just stopped treating with efudex and it is burning. Hence the scotch when I got home.

OF, double merde! Calls for double Scotch! If you had my luck the valve core would have disappeared into a pile of leaves.

When I pour two fingers of scotch I use my pinky and index finger.

When I pour 2 fingers of tequila I use my pinky and index... the ring and middle just happen along for the ride.
Swearing is a spontaneous, verbal thing. If you are typing and swearing then it is not spontaneous... it is either for effect or vulgarity. Either way you probably could have avoided it.

+1 Carbon.
I suppose it depends on who or what you are swearing at. Swearing at a picture of a guy holding a sign is OK. Swearing at a person you are having a conversation with is not, IMHO.

jookey, as I am a true believer of karma, my FU shout out was that fact this fan was using a referrence to the slogan "Boston Strong", used after the marathon bombings.

the only good thing about the leafs making the playoff's was watching that epic fail and boston comeback. i'm a pittsburgh fan this year (and boston) mainly due to our main man getting traded there at the deadline. 2 sweet goals tonite for Iggy. i hope he can get the cup this year...

Bruins have their work cut out for them this round. As weak as Pittsburgh is in the goal tending department, they sure do make up for it in he offense. It ain't over till it's over, but I have to give the Penguin's the advantage in this round.
