Sad news....Boonen's girlfriend had a miscarriage this week. He will not start MSR as a result.
Just say "NO!" to WCP!!!!

bummer for sure. among Boonen's best MSR performance was as a decoy for his teammate Pozzato's win. Pozzato attacked and Boonen hesitated just slightly and Pozzato pulled off the win. I'm not sure that is the kind of help Cav will be needing this year though.

Miscarriage is such a drag and emotionally confusing thing to go through.

Just read huge article on VN.....Seems that his oartner's pregnancy was pretty far along.....it was not miscarriage early in the pregnancy. they had to induce labor in order to remove the baby, which took over 25 hours. Really, really sad.

Sounds trite, but hopefully racing and training helps him work through such a loss.

Sad. I have a friend who still puts flowers at the memorial of their unborn twins, over 10 years after.
