Yesterday at Vuelta Ciclista Al Pais Vasco, he finished a scant 9:47 behind Contador. Today he improved and now sits just 12:44 back. Brother Frank gave up 58 seconds yesterday and now sits at 3:25. (34th place for Frank and 69th for Andy now.) I think the plan is for Frank to assist Andy to within striking distance over the next couple of road stages. Andy will then ice it in the time trial. before I chime in on how horrible Andy is riding I would like to point out that he would still kick my ass. Uphill, Downhill, TTing. Whatever. Now that thats out of the way -- he really sucks.
