Good ol' Jensy
From CN live report:
It's nice to see Zepunkte in the breakaway with Voigt. The young German had very nice things to say about his older compatriot, who is retiring on Sunday. Voigt has been a positive role model for German cyclists, much better than the ones who have sullied the sport with doping and turned the public off of cycling.

More Spoiler:
Glad that Jens still got on the podium today, and well deserved.
The pack takes out 10"/km from the small breaks, and it was clear he was 1 k short with about 5 miles to go. But that tough SOB went down swinging.
Chapeau, Jens Voigt!
(Anti dopers can chime in now if you must.)

CP, you made me vomit with this : "Voigt has been a positive role model for German cyclists, much better than the ones who have sullied the sport with doping and turned the public off of cycling." Its well documented what I think about SGT. Schultz.

the other thing that makes me vomit is listening to phil and paul. They are like two cartoons of their former selves. Just turned the volume off.

I don't much care what Jens did in his career, doping-wise, but I think it's kooky that young riders would feel compelled to say things they may or may not know about Voigt.
FWIW, Voigt and Horner might make very good color commentators for TV in the states. They understand, at the level of TV, this is entertainment.

Good race. Nice comeback by Tommy D yesterday. TJ looks like a solid top 10 in the TDF for years to come, but I think it will take some luck to podium. I hope he surprises me. Not so cocky now, but seems more assured.
