http://www.cxhairs.com/2016/01/29/world-championship-course-preview-videos/#more-5968 Preview lap time 9:35 I wonder what they will average on Sunday? I'm guessing 8:55 for the leader There were a couple of places that would elevate the already pegged heart rate. Some of those drops and flyovers with descending turns could do some damage to the inattentive. In other news Jingle Cross in Iowa City is a World Cup event in September. If you have a chance to attend, watching the Euro-pros is something else!

Van der Poel has looked pretty unbeatable in recent weeks but we'll see.

Holy hell....the conditions made that course BRUTAL today for the women. What a ride by De Jong...she was clearly the strongest rider out there. She was just powering through while everyone else was visibly tiring.
KFC's race was over in 300m...not that I would have expected her to win.
Just say "NO!" to WCP!!!!

No joke on the conditions.
KC is notoriously slow off the line. The second row woman fill in behind the first row and the slot being Compton is always the last taken. Nobody wants to be stuck behind her. Once she gets going it's generally another matter

Jeebus....another epic, brutal race.
Massive blunder by Van Der Poel costs him th race, Van Der Haar gets the green light to race for himself and Van Aerts digs deep on the final climb to win in front of the home fans.
Super-exciting....thought I knew who the winner was about 5 times and I was wrong every time!
Just say "NO!" to WCP!!!!
