Yes, this is actually the fault of the Vuelta organizers (RCA?) but under the UCI oversight. And this is strike 2 for bollards at sprint finishes at the Vuelta. (Peter Stetina 2 years ago.)

Time for CPA to step up. (They could "strike" a sprinter's stage. Ride it really slow, finish way outside the time window. Maybe even just send the climbers out for the sprint. It would be good for giggles and piss a lot of people with money in the game off. CPA has yet to anything real to protect its riders and stuff is still happening.)
