Wow. Wiggins is just being gutted like a bluefish right now. |

What are his options, to continue and not even gain a step on the podium or withdraw and target ToF. |

If Wiggins hangs on, recovers from the lung infection or whatever, he may be a help to Uran, but he'll no doubt have his mind on Le Tour, so let's get that Froome-Wiggins controversy started up again..... |

Ironic, yesterday Wiggo commented that he was hoping today and tomorrow being relatively easy he could get over that infection. Then conditions get attrocious again... I wonder if Ryder has same infection; it seems to be going around. Cav's 100th! |

Thing is I dont think Uram was even in the lead group at the finish today -- so I dont think there is a GC threat for Sky anymore. The tdf will be interesting as Wiggins will want to fight for the GC there as this race has become a disaster for him. Probably should abandon. |

My understanding was that Uran was in the Nibali group. |

Uran is still listed as 3rd on GC so he must have been there. |

so Wiggins got dropped on a descent [again] and was unable to regain contact w/ the peleton? He doesn't descend like a girl - he descends like a fricking chump or fred. Good god, what an embarrassment - if that's what really happened.... ("Bradley Wiggins (Sky), dropped with 40km to go on the descent off the day's final KOM" ) Getting shelled because you can't keep up with the intensity is one thing (that happens to me regularly)- pussing out on a downhill is another IMHO. |

-- youre right OC he is still up there so Wiggo has some reason to fight thru it. Still the Tour is gonna be interesting. When did a returning winner ever agree to be anything other than team leader -- must have been the Hinault/LeMond affair. And we know how that ended |

BN, descending like a girl? I'll wager Marian Vos would have arrived at the bottom of those descents in the group! Ben |

Vos isn't a "girl", she is an alien. |

ok, Mr sideburns-no-more is ill = why he got shelled. That's a better 'splanation than descending like a chump. My 'girl' descending reference was from 2 days ago when BW said just that about his pathetic descent on X mountain pass (too lazy to look that up..) There was a thread @ that too... |

So Wiggo and Hej dropped out and Cav won his hundredth win. totally enjoy watching him. Hope he lights up Sagan (not a fan) like a Xmass tree at the Tour this year. The weather has totally sucked meatballs in all the races so far not just Giro. I can't believe no one has invented a light wet suite for riding AND what is up with the Italians playing KISS during podium ceremony every freaking day. Enough already and KISS.....WTF |
