Getting ready for the fireworks on the final climb. Should be an interesting GC battle.

He made it look sooooo easy today. Contador hung with him, until Quintana kicked him to the curb. Froome was a stud today. I thought he was done when they showed him losing time, on the climb. That was a great finish today

I think Quintana paid for having no pre-tour racing miles as a result of returning to Columbia. Now he gets to bank on those TdF racing miles. I"m guessing he takes a different approach next spring.

Froome likely was faster in July.

@Spud, Froome was a stud for sure!! I thought he was done when he was 45 seconds back, then he came back and hammered it, Nairo will need more time before the TT.
Me thinks that maybe Contador should have retired, he just does not seem to have that "Snap" any more, I think his best days are behind him, and Froome and company are just too good right now. Did Trek sign a rider past his prime?

Alberto had more tape on him, than on his bars. He's had some $4itty luck, being involved in crashes. Who knows how bad his body is hurting at this point. He really didn't want that camera moto following him yesterday. Yeah Quintana needs more time for sure. I hope Brambi can climb back into the top 10 tomorrow.

I think you could improve racing by just outlawing outside power sources. This is bicycle racing after all. As long as the racing takes place in the daylight or on well lit streets, there is nothing about a bicycle that requires electricity or batteries. Remove computers, radios, power meters. No longer will riders be looking at their stems. I'll bet the crashes go down because 1) no stem watching and 2) directors will have a much harder time telling their riders to be at the front before turn X so you will not have 15 teams all trying to get there. A rider who knows that's nuts won't have his DS screaming at him to get up there. (Well the DS may be screaming. Tough for the mechanic.)

The Power Meter Lobbyists now go into high gear.

Banning power meters won't change anything.....the stronger rider will still win.
Froome wins because he is stronger and has a stronger team. Has nothing to do with watching their power meters. They simply refined the tactics of Banesto and USPS to an even finer degree.
Just say "NO!" to WCP!!!!
