Marianne Vos and and signing up WM3 to a 5 year deal as title sponsor for Rabo-Liv.
Anna van der Breggen and Pauline Ferrand-Prevot will depart to other teams.
I see this as great for women's cycling. A strong showcase team and two other teams get real star power. I hope Vos comes around to her best next year, that Rabo-Liv thrives as do van der Breggen's and Ferrand-Prevot's teams. (And the other women's teams.)
I hope also that this gives Vos the soapbox to call for a real Women's Tour de France. 2 weeks (at least) over the best of the roads. On the same day and roads as the men's stages so all who camped out for days see them. We saw at the Olympics that the women can put on a very real race, a truly gripping performance. Now let's see these women with their better endurance builds than men show it off on the ultimate endurance event.
I can dream, can't I?
