Fun watching KC pull away early and dominate.  I've been a fan of her since soon after the 2004 Nats in Portland where I watched her win.  When I learned she did it starting from mid-field because she had no UCI points, to maintain amateur status as para tandem pilot, I became a fan.  Next year, she did it again in Portland again, again starting from mid-field.

Now she starts front-row but US women's CX has grown a lot since 2004.  And she has to race women with both skills and speed more than a decade younger.

Now for the men's race.  (Live video coverage on CyclingNews is quite good.)

Some fun in the final 100 meters of the men's race. Won't spoil it but it will put a smile on your face.
