Time to place your bets! I have no idea beyond someone from QS, who are getting it done lately.

Dylan Groenewegen...you heard it here first.

With predicted conditions / wind direction, OC’s pick is a good one...or look for one of the second / third tier guys to slip away as QS marks GvA and Sagan. A guy like Nansen or Van Keirsbulck could sneak an advantage as the favorites mark each other.

Interesting piece on Sagan in cyclingnews on the eve of PR:
http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/peter-sagan-saving-his-answers-for-paris-roubaix/

Seems to me that Sagan excels when *very* high power is needed for a few seconds to a few minutes,.e.g. his three rainbow jerseys, not 20-50km of grinding it out like the last two Flanders winners (Yes there are exceptions). He has the bike skills to excel at PR, but perhaps this is more a race for the grinders.

Things looking positive for him...gap continues to go up, but he has been out there for a long time. Can he keep the power up for the remaining cobbles? he has been doing most of the work since he reached the breakaway.

he made a good move...GvA makes two moves, legs get a bit tired and he counters. Actually smart tactics (for a change).

Hahaha..the anti prediction. Great end world champ versus established pistier Sprint. Hats off to Dillier.

Definitely eating my words. It helped that they let him ride off the front (WTF was up with that - Did they think he couldn't last that long?) Agree about Dillier, what a ride.

Sagan lucked out today. They gave him 40 seconds when he went. Tailwind and he needed the support he got from front group to stay ahead. But you make your luck so great race.

Not “luck”. Smart tactical race. Good time to go. He had possible help up the road. Many favorites just used some matches and could not follow.
On another note, Phinney looked really good. Wonder if he can win this thing someday? He has the tools.
