Both US TT Champs got KO by the Cali TT course. What young guns are ready to win the men's title? Will TJVG still be in the US? I wonder if TF will fly home to grab starts and stipes? Will Levi be there? The woman's title fight will probably look like the results from ToC TT.

Yep, TF=TP because a while back someone said that when they see "TP" they think of butt wipe so...

BMC says no Taylor this weekend. I hope one of the Bontrager boys wins the title!

It is against the rules to abandon 1 event and ride in another while the first race is still running. TF would need to get permission from the Giro organizer before he may race the TT.
Why aren't nationals during June like the calendar reserves? There is 1 week in June for National championships so there is no pro calendar conflicts but the US never seems to have their nationals at that time so a lot don't participate. Mind you, often the Euro pros don't want to fly home for the race and back to Europe the next day either.

Yep, I know that rule but I also know how easy it is to get around especially since a national title was on the line. US nats aren't inline with Europe because USAC knows that Euro based pros wouldn't come back to the states in June like you said. How many pro tour guys are there now though? At least nats isn't just part of some other race like it was for the Phily years.

WOOOHOO Fast Freddie! I've had the opportunity to ride with FFR several times over the last 20 years. Initially because we have mutual friends and then in the last few years because he was in Boise for Exergy events. I know the "nice guy" label gets used a lot but IMO he is a truly nice guy.
