Wouldn't you think he would auction himself off to the highest bidder, if only for ToC for a few bucks or a free helmet? Plenty of other ex dopers in the race. I mean, wouldn't jelly belly or someone want him.?
Is he in shape)? |

I'm thinking that he may show up to TT nats. I really don't have feelings one way or another about LL, I like him more than jens, but I would love to see him win nats because lots people will crap their chamois if he wins the title. |

isn't there some limitations about how and when you can join a team? thinking of Petacchi where he suddenly up and quits Lampre, and hopes to get picked up by Omega Pharma. "The UCI sticks by its rule that forbids transfers mid-season even if Petacchi's case is different. He is a former-pro and asking for a new licence. It decided not to go down a slippery slope and set a precedence for other retirements/transfers." http://www.cyclingweekly.co.uk/news/latest/538187/alessandro-petacchi-still-hoping-to-ride-with-omega-pharma-and-cavendish.html#7R3Yjd9wE8TuQo7i.99 |

j_a, if I'm not mistaken, he can race nats sans team. Remember when Greg "Chopper" Randolph went to TT nats and almost won a title only five months into his cycling career? Hegg only edged him by a few seconds. Greg got signed by Motorola because of that performance.
EDIT: Levi isn't changing teams so if he does need a team I bet its no biggy to get added to a roster for one race if needed, especially for a TT. Mellow Johnny's still has a team. |

According to one of our local papers, knocking back beers while watching Primus at Bottle Rock in Napa. Possibly hoping that his old teammate Andy Schleck will drop by. |

The rumor floating in the dirt world was that he was going to race endurance events for Specialized. |

hang on! on 05/18/2013, ric200 asks "what's Levi up to?" on the VeloNation forum. two days later on May 20, 2013 at 03:02 Cyclingnews posts "Leipheimer confirms: I'm retired." coincidence? i think not.

wish he would not do the endurance thing, give the sport a bad name can't see even Specialized footing the bill for that. develop talent, he's made enough $ in the sport that he's killed |

training camps, gran fondos, and local riider development. Expect to see him get aligned with some charity organization as well. All to help 'rebrand' Levi. He appears to still have a passion for the sport so unlikley he willl drop of the face of the earth. He WILL put on weight! |
