Just a thought - couldn't a CX rider look at an ITT as like a slightly shorter CX race? 34 minutes of non-stop pain instead of 60?

Yes, both are short, very hard intense efforts, but the physical requirements of each are very different.

CX is more “over / under” while TT’s are a steady state effort.

Tuned into the coverage just in time to see the slow-mo of him raising his arms....haven't seen how the stage unfolded, but dayum....two stages in a row, one TT and the other a sprint.

Dauphine turned out to be very boring week as far as GC. No offense to TJ but fact that he came second was evidence how soft this race was. Hopefully not a harbinger of July.

Quintana...enough said already.

There was a bit of comic relief when Trek announced they were leaving Degenkolb home so they could focus on supporting Porte.

And what's up with all the rain this year?

Spot on, OC...schitt, did anyone in the top 5 even try and do something today?

So Trek is leaving behind a guy who could grab them stage wins so they can focus on an aging GC never-been who has been sick all spring and still can’t stay with the front group when there are no attacks going on....solid plan. Enjoy his abandonment before halfway...
