Roglic is in fine spring form again but it’s a long way till July. Looking forward to the van Aert MVDP match ups over coming weeks. Will be interesting to see if van Aert goes for overall here and if this holds him back at all for the one day work. |

Following PN with my soon to be extinct NBCSN feed. Observations: The feed is good. Poor solo English language guy is smart enough to shut up every once in a while (or is he just taking a whiz?) And nice to see Roglic with a TT helmet that fits his noggin.
I had the pleasure of watching Brandon McNulty win a kiddie rainbow jersey in the US in Richmond a few years back, and now the follow up pleasure to see he's mixing it up with the big boys in a WT TT (again!). Will he podium in Nice? Unlikely with that alpine stage, but fun to see him in the mix.
As for TA, is there a feed for US? Thanks |

So Rémi Cavagna simply ran out of juice! Late attack at P-N. Got to the final hill and got stuck in the small ring and smallish cog. Seems it was a battery issue. On one of the better teams, D-QS, for mechanical issues in general. |

Will be interesting to see if van Aert goes for overall here and He has indicated that with the lack of summit finishes, he wants to try for the overall. As for TA, is there a feed for US GCN+ has daily coverage. |

Stage 4. Prati di Tovi (14,7 km aan 7%). I’d call that a summit finish. |

But isn't that the only one? I think he was referring to the lack of numerous summits as well as the absence of some of the traditional, harder ones...Mt. Etna, etc.

I don’t think they ever have any super hard ones in Tirreno. Stage 4 seems more climbing than usual. |

Well I had to laugh cause Etna is on Sicily. Tirreno is in central Italy. Fire your source of intel :-) |

So how does crash mode get activated anyway? Apparently the juice was just fine. |

So how does crash mode get activated anyway? I think crash mode can get activated if the RD gets a big knock against it. So maybe someone's front wheel hit is RD? Damn good stage today at T-A. It is making P-N look like a total snoozefest in comparison.

So if a race is important enough, should these Di2 bikes have mechanical backups? A couple of cables and a pair of DT shifters left pushed forward until needed? Wouldn't weigh very much. (Of course, there probably isn't a rider in the peloton who would know how to use them. ) |
