"Abbott was philosophical about the day's events which resulted in a 10th place finish for her, 4:19 in arrears of Wilcoxson. "I've raced for a while, and I've had a lot of success. That's the first time something like that has happened to me where I've had luck play into it," said Abbott about her bittersweet day. "Hopefully this will set me up to have future luck and not dwell on it."

I know this makes me a retro-grouch, but a derailleur hanger and derailleur so light a professional mechanic can break them doing a wheel change? Huh? Sounds to me like weight weenie stuff, not stuff built for professional bike racers.

I posted her quote to point out her good attitude. The hanger didn't break from that wheel change, it broke from repeated wheel changes while in a hurry and probably at least several hard smacks in the team truck. That back wheel has probably been changed more times already this year than most people would change in several years.
