Genevieve Jeanson storming uphill at Sea Otter.  Floyd Landis just gave her a place on his gravel team.

So, 40 years old and she hasn't raced for 15 years.  It'll be a challenge.  If she can find the love of racing again only now in a place where she is wanted for being her, not just a money producing and ego inflating tool for others, I'm on board as fan.

Her coach and doctor pretty much nailed her program. A woman climbing Mt Washington 4 minutes faster than Dale Stetina? But taking a gifted 15yo girl and sending her on that journey for years - men have served hard time for doing far less. -7 doesn't get to argue his journey was forced on him. No, he was as abusive to others as Jeanson's coach was to her. -7 just spread out that abuse to many and often had others do the dirty work.

Jeanson won my heart being a climber's climber and having the heart of a lion. She hasn't climbed in a long time but it's good to see the heart is still there.
