Suspect Sunday will become a numbers game, teams trying to isolate VDP yeah, I think this may be a case where he is so heavily marked that it is hard for him to get away. But the good news is that if there is one race where the strongest rider often wins (barring luck / mechanicals), it is Roubaix. |

Told you there was too many buttons. DSM will not use tire pressure system because riders still have to get used to it. Of course that could be double speak for system not being reliable enough. |

Wow…Arenberg blew everything apart. Whole race has been crazy so far. Ineos forc3d an early split in the crosswinds and the big favorites have been on their heels the whole race. But the cobbles are doing their damage and things are starting to shift, with riders coming back and going forward. And tubeless seems to be a poor choice for this race….way more punctures this year. My guess is that it is a burping issue vs actual punctures. If you are gonna run tubeless in Roubaix, I think you really need to run inserts with them so you can keep riding if you do get a puncture. |

Waiting game. Van Aert looks good. VDP is sticking to his feed schedule. They still have to haul back Mohoric. We know it won’t be that Pedersen today, sounds like he abandoned. Edit..,ok finally we got an interesting group. |

I don’t think Mohoric has the legs to do it now that this chase group has formed. MVP seems a bit off perhaps? Hard to tell….and I think he has the ability to get into Wout’s head, so feigning weakness could be a good strategy for him. Could be a good setup for Kung….MVP and WVA have a tendency to cancel each other out. |

Yes van der Poel looks a bit off. Or he’s just really saving it. Flat and forced chase for van Aert. And mechanical for Mohoric. |

VDP is spending a lot of time looking down. Doesn’t seem to be his day. Van Aert looks feisty but maybe too early. |

Wout seems to be burning a lot of matches and not going anywhere. This move w/ Mohoric and Van Baarle is dangerous. |

Wout finally has daylight from MVP and is chasing with Kung, but they don’t seem to be closing the gap to Van Baarle. He could stick it to the finish now. |

Van Baarle looks to be on a mission. Mohoric probably burnt most of his matches and Lampaert looks happy to just be there. Van Aert is also not really getting closer. |
