Hey,I'm half British and in better condition at 68 than I was at 38. We're late bloomers. |

c'mon, seriously, do you think Sky would risk some systematic team-wide doping regime given current testing and anti-doping culture? there's no way. the blowback would be too huge to risk! |

Ya have to believe one of two things. Either he came within a few seconds a doped Lance clean, or he doped. You would have to consider that effort today as basically the best clean ride in the history of the sport. |

Or they got some "secret sh*t" and or protocol that is a head of the testing and as cocky as they are they are that's my belief. If I was that juiced and knew I couldn't get caught I'd still want to make it at least look like a race...but jeez it didn't look right. |

I am not normally a sceptic but when things turn this predictable and boring, that's the imaginary line in the sand. Heck Froome did not even need Porte, the damage was already done by then. Really? |

Must be something very magical happening down in Tenerife... I find it weird that David Millar is now saying the skepticism about Sky is unfounded. Would he be saying that if the team was not Brit? Say... about Astana, if they were producing the sports best climbers but staying tight-lipped about their "training methods"? |

i've said it before in the other forum, and i stand by it: i don't care who's on what. to me the whole thing boils down to the acceptance of any "line" between clean and dirty looking more like a seawall than a seashore. again- it's not like anybody in the top 1% is living on rice cakes and coca cola. not david millar, not froome, nunadem. wasp bile (remember that stuff?), benadryl, monster energy, whatever- i'm pretty sure all these teams have real time knowledge of what is currently kosher according to the rules and, for the most part, are standing half a step on the safe side of it. and when those rules change, they toe right up to wherever they move, whether it be forward, backward, or sideways. |

Well if the rumors in the doping forums on other sites are true (and most of those guys are conspiracy nuts, so it is possible it is all made up) then Sky and other teams are starting to use the newer experimental drugs like AICAR which do not currently have any tests. So they will not get caught, except possible retroactively in 10 years or something.

Kennaugh dropped 5 kilos in 2 months. Without losing power. Impressive... |
