Cycling teams are just walking billboards. The kits should be allowed to change whenever the team owner has something new they want to advertise.

Think Garmin. Would they like to change the kit when they come out with a new product mid year to high light that product ? Sure they would.

Just seems silly that they don't do it. It would attract more companies if they would change that rule. What would it hurt ?

Perhaps this is one of those things that will be reviewd and changed under Cookson. As others have noted, it can only be a positive for the sport and teams (but potentially costly for kit suppliers!!)
Just say "NO!" to WCP!!!!

Belkin is doing just that this year with regional sponsors being offered a spot on the jersey on rotating basis dependent where race is run,

Rabo used to do it with various bank product offerings.

I keep thinking of this college football team not far from me where they have somewhere between half and a dozen outfits including helmets. Granted, they have Phil Knight/NIKE as a sponsor. (Oregon Ducks)

My opinion? College football: one home, one away. Pro cycling? Go for it.
