That may be the best straight line we get all year. |

I defense of Andy, he also says he's working a lot more kilometres on the time trial bike.
Define "more", Andy |

I wish Andy the best, I wouldn't underestimate having his brother alongside him this year. Do I think he'll return to his former glory no but I expect him to be respectable. |

This is a make or break year for Andy, IMO. I hope he and his Bro stay healthy, if only to eliminate possible excuses for what I feel will be more of the same.

I actually kinda feel for the guy, but he does need to show he's made of sterner stuff than what we have seen the past few years. That said, lordy, lordy, if he comes out and has a strong year, podiums in the tour and takes a mountaintop finish on a grueling stage . . . let the speculation commence! |

He has the capability but I don't think there are enough pictures of ponies and rainbows to motivate him anymore. Maybe it was just maturity? He rode better when he had a taskmaster like Barnie ragging on him all the time. Leopard and the Shack of the last few years were terrible situations for him as the structure wasn't there for those not completely self motivated. Left to his own devices - his palmares of the last few years are telling sad waste of talent...lately |

Nah, PEDs pure and simple, Berto has not been his "old" self either since his bust.

thanks Bob, I'll re-phrase it: Barnie was a "taskmaster". I'll leave what's between the parentheses up to the reader |
