over the weekend i shaved off my winter beard. i usually do it the weekend of the time change but the weather was so nice i did it ahead of schedule. doh! it was in the upper 30s this morning and my face was so cold. at least i look 10 years younger without all that grey.

Skinny that’s about the time when the hair comes off my legs also, but this year I'm way behind considering everything is covered in snow, potholes have popped up everywhere, snow is frozen on road side, and mountain bike trails have been under a foot of snow since December. Gonna need a freaking hedge trimmer by the time the weather turns. I have a big fat zero on my speedometer for the year. The only thing I’ve ridden is the trainer. Prediction is a cool summer, hopefully little rain.

Shaving early? Doesn't that make you the two legged groundhog, dooming all of us to weeks more winter?

My beard stays on year 'round. I learned long ago that it helps me with my allergies a lot, acting like a filter. Wash it out as I shower before bed.

it gets so friggin hot and humid here in the summer there's no way to wear a beard. i've got to keep leg hair. my legs are so skinny i need all the bulk on them i can get even if it is dead protein.

Yeah, I have way more grey in my facial hair than everywhere else. Except I'm cursed with my Anglo mother's sensitive skin combined with my relentless Italian/Sicilian father's facial hair. I haven't shaved my legs in years. Without the "definition" it just looks more ridiculous than hair. LOL.
