Wow, 32 bikes. The thieves must have backed a large truck up against the building to get that many. Pretty damn sad...

That is a damn peleton! I'd be looking into a new security system.

'Again'!?

Maybe shop owners can choose a few bikes to (temporarily) install a small tracking device in the seat tube, which could be a big help in incidents like this.

Around here shops have bollards in front of any entry point and steel bars of some kind behind windows. Stolen trucks have been used to bash in walls or windows hence the bollards. The bars don't llok too bad either. Often it is an artful sculpture of some sort. One shop used old steel frames welded together to make their protection. My local shop showed me the cctv footage of their last robbery. Hoodies were up hiding identities as the thieves ran and took only high end frames and bikes. Obviously they had scoped the joint beforehand. I think that loss was from a truck driven into the back doors.

Whoa, that sucks. Hopefully they get caught. That's enough value to cool the old heels in a cell for a while. My very first ten speed, a Ross, was stolen when I was like 12. I was absolutely crushed.
