This is the road just above Buckingham Park. The road to Jamestown still isn't open.

I think 36 to Estes is also closed to cyclists. And Flagstaff is closed during the week.

Man, I'm happy I did that Colorado trip when I did. Is this still the damage from last year or is it new?

OC,

This is from the floods from last year. The road to Jamestown above the turn-off to Ward is closed to cyclists - just too much construction, narrow dirt 1 lane roads, etc. The cost to rebuild Lefthand Canyon is estimated to be above $20M. I have no idea
when they will start or get it done.

Thanks Steve; that sucks. Reminds me of Santa Cruz, I got there 3 years after the Loma Prieta eartquake and downtown was still not fully cleaned up.

Awesome riding in your area though; I'd encourage anyone to go check it out.

looks like cross bike territory, pretty crazy storms last year, that was the 100 year rain here in N.M. biggest problem here was the run off after some massive forest fires the last few years
