ESPN 30 for 30 ran "Slaying The Badger" here last night. I saw the last 3/4. Very good. Nick

Watched it last night. Thought it was good, but really nothing new brought to light. Pretty much the same story as has been handed down since it happened.

Biggest "revelation" is that Koechli is pretty freakin' two-faced and a liar, I guess.

I may have seen (but not heard) it while in pub this evening (sound off); tube said ESPN.

Hinault still looks good, same with Hampsten, Koechli and the others (was that Zimmerman?).

What the heck happened to Lemond and what was he wearing?

The imagery was super cool; just like I remember it, the Golden Age of cycling. Obviously I did not get the story, maybe that was good. I should have listened to what the kids were telling me about camp they had this week but I could not unglue myself from the images; those were the days, the big guns against each other no matter that they were on same team, no stupid tempo riding.

Lemond was in a car accident over the winter and was in a back brace as a result.
