Very sad. I couldn't tell from the article whether he had an accident or not. I know it said he died of a heart attack later at the hospital, but I think that can happen as a result of trauma. Not that it particularly matters...I guess it's just human nature to make sense of things, even when there is no sense to be made.

Other sources said it was a heart attack...certainly sad news...

I grew up in Iowa City and used to ride by his original frame shop location with my dad. As a kid I loved seeing Tom working on frames. He was always very nice to us. Very sad news indeed.
