I'm listening, but was just waiting to 1) get more feedback and 2) see which forums are (and aren't) used...then I think it will make more sense to decide. I agree. I like some of the sub-forums. A couple could be collapsed, but overall I like the structure. Thanks Steve.

@Keith - no worries, stoked to have you guys -- it was setup for this, and it's great to see it actually happening! I just need to work out some things since it's been neglected! I'm looking into an upgrade right now which will bring a lot of options. @madvax - i've heard that as well in other posts, so i think meeting in the middle might be good - see what's used after a week or two and remove everything else. thanks for the feedback!

Just chiming in to say how excellent it is to have moved to a forum platform where the caretaker actually actively looks into upgrades, and thinks through decisions like subfora. Thanks! I'd also be interested to see if your main site sees more traffic due to the new influx of forumites. I hope so. "aero" sub forum. heh.

I'd vote for fewer sections and would be fine with the three that bobswire suggested. Would make the site easier to navigate.

For the love of all you consider holy. Please please keep the separate 'dark side' open and mandatory for doping "discussions" as at VN threads were routinely overrun with people who could only talk @ doping & contributed nothing else Keeping that separate was the best last decision VN ever did .. and bonus points for people who never even looked at that thread

I like the idea of the Gear section. We periodically get someone posting for recommendations on something. It gives one place for people to find already made recommendations.

Fewer forums: I got lost looking around. Wonder why MTBrs don't hang out on forums? Sure I diid a killer MTB training ride this AM, I am on VACATION (Holiday) and taking advantage of my ride time. But I rarely see any postings that relate to MTB rides, bikes (well a few photos from PA Biker), and races. Maybe Diesel will do that epic race again this time going North to South!
