Not nearly enough for either of these scum but better than what we usually see.

I imagine they only received prison time because of their class in society. A wealthy "upstanding" citizen would have got off. I'm glad they got the time, but unfortunately don't think the sentencing would have been applied evenly across the societal board.

I wonder how much time they actually end up serving?

Man that is just sad.

In Richmond, VA, a fancy lawyer's 20 something boy with a terrible driving record killed a rider at night on a frankly dangerous road. He might have gotten away with it if he stopped to help, fessed up and was remorseful, but he fled the scene and hid behind daddy and other lawyers for a few days, perhaps to clear drugs from his system, we'll never know. After his high powered defense lawyer provided a variety of implausible defenses (mainly he didn't know he hit the rider and his bashed in windshield containing the victim's blood was a coincidence), in the end he got 3 years. He was promptly transferred from the tough city jail to a comparatively plush, air conditioned county jail containing nonviolent offenders because of a "medical condition", more likely just Daddy's connections. A-hole. I knew the rider who died. She was a beautiful person.
