Well that didn't take long. One of the Dutch team's TT bikes was stolen from a downtown hotel. Very embarrassing for Richmond and me as an American. They have a pic of the guy from video surveillance. This bike will be hard to sell.

Its not like this doesn't happen everywhere in Europe as well.

For that matter, some Swiss guys that we had dinner at Haute Route with had theirs stolen on theiir first participation. Securing 600 bikes every night is a small nightmare.

Shit happens. It didn't even make Dutch sports news. What is embarrasing is police treatment of that jaywalking 16yr old in Stockton.
