I've hung my CoMotion frame for the time being and overhauled and built up the Merlin with a new Dura Ace group, a handbuilt Chris King wheelset and of course CK bottom bracket and headset. And yes those are Scott Drop Ins. Thomson post/stem to round out things. Not the uber lightest set up, but it offers an amazing ride and is comfortable for those 5 hour plus days on crap roads. My next projects will be a single speed commuter and a fat bike. What are you all riding these days?

Another case of a CF bike not standing the test of time? And titanium standing tall? (The test of time - it's not the bike's aging that matters, it's ours. I think there is a direct correlation between the average age at Cycle Oregon and the number of ti bikes there. I've observed both going up.)

Hab is that the 9100 DA stuff or the 9000?

Tasty little sled you have there....LOVE the Drop-ins. Still have my old Scott Rakes lying around, but don't have a 26.2 bar to use them on anymore...
Just say "NO!" to WCP!!!!

Ben - the CoMotion is steel so it will definitely stand the test of time.

CK - levers are 9100, everything else is 9000. As for bars, I had some 3T carbon bars I used last year, but I noticed quick a big increase in speed using the Drop Ins on my cross commuter so I figured I'd use them on the Merlin. I'm hoping they help when I have to chase back on to the group! :-)

Nice, Hab!

All my road bikes are sitting all alone in a dark cold storage locker in Washington... : (

Santana tandem-- getting a rework when I get a bit of time. Upgrading to Campagnolo 10v Record off another bike

Ritchey Ti Break-away CX getting upgraded to 11v Chorus... same deal, when I get time

Focus Mares 1x11. My main bike

Masi Evoluzione with Chorus 11v

Haro mountain bike. Don't ride this one very often.. dunno why, it's a lot of fun

Carl Strong Ti road bike, Record 10. Sits on the trainer most of the time

Another Carl Strong frame hanging up. Lugged steel with polished ss lugs and ss chain stays. I nailed a dog years ago with this bike and need to get the head tube/ down tube joint re-soldered

...and assorted helmets and some of the shoes.
Move over Imelda Marcos

and my wife's GT ancient mountain bike that is running slicks. She never rides it since I showed up with the Santana. She things it's a pretty good deal, the husband AND the bike!
