Got all the parts and pieces to hook my non-smart trainer to Zwift. Figured I'd need to pedal to get all the stuff paired and functional so I figured five minutes max. Since I rode outside earlier in the day all I was going to do was get it set up. Wrong Twenty minutes later it looked like I'd come out of a swimming pool and my legs were jelly The time just disappeared! This is going to be insanely addictive. Next purchase will be a Wahoo Kick'r Any tips or hints I need to be aware of?

Same thing happened to me. It's so much easier mentally to push through tough and even long workouts. Pull the trigger on the Kickr. Bit pricey still but worth it.

There is a three-part primer series on Slowtwitch. Some of it is incredibly basic, but there are some decent tips in there as well.
And if yo enjoyed it with a non-smart trainer, wait until you get a Kickr....

Dale, you asked for the hint ... You will have to wait until next summer but it will happen. ZAA. The latest 12 Step fellowship, Zwift Addicts Anonymous. Hasn't started yet. Just wait. It will be springing up in cycling havens around the country. It'll take a few months to settle in but next September, find the local Alanon Club and ask. Good bet there will be a brand new meeting. (And you'll need it. The qualifer - being able to say yes to "am entirely powerless over Zwift; that my life has become unmanageable" - adopted from Alcoholics Anonymous; Step 1.)

Haha no, but let's pretend this is case anyway.
