Wow, some great goals there. Much more modest here.

Mauna Kea. July 4.

Thinking about Levi GF in Oct. In which case I'd probably add a few other rides...Whitney Portal, Shasta plus a few rides in bay area for old times sake.

No specific events but changing my work load and priorities to get in more bike time-- specifically more 2-4 hour gravel rides. Would like to my miles back to the 4,000 - 5,000 range.

Going to do fewer major (read: travel less) cross races.

Lemme know the St. Louis marathon date and we can meet up for lunch or whatever.

5,000 miles (close to 4,500 currently so not a stretch.) Considered doing the Haute Route in Asheville since it's right outside my front doorstep but that might be a bad idea.

Beyond that, I'd like to snag a few more local KOM's (I know that sounds pathetic but it's a goal!), Assault on the Carolinas, Asheville Gran Fondo and Hot Doggett.

Goal is to be a really good racer if I still competed, if that makes sense.

6ix, how close are you to Beech Mountain? A bunch of us are likely heading down to Boone again this year and doing the Beech Mountain Metric Century (May 20, I think?)

Haute Route has added a lot of events but if I were to do another one it would be Norway, Utah or Pyrenees; that said riding in Mt Mitchell area is somewhere on radar for some opportune time.

CK, I'm about 2.5 hours from Boone but would definitely consider riding the Beech Mountain metric with you!! Please keep me informed.

What's your target marathon time?

OC: you are an Assault on Mt. Mitchell candidate for sure.

Mauna Kea first. I've done steep, thin air and gravel but all three combined should be fun. Haha. Why why why?!?

I’ll definitely keep you in the loop re: Beech.

Target time fro the Marathon is sub-3:30., hopefully around 3:25 so I can make any secondary time cuts for Boston (usually an extra 2-3 minutes off the official BQ time). The Daniels VDOT chart puts me right around 3:24 based on other races I have done. We’ll see....

Not only that. You're also consulting the wrong Jack Daniels. This is the one you need LOL: https://qph.ec.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-6076cc5b862935cedcae3ea856bef6b0

Goals - get over 5k miles for the year, commute 75% of the time, meet up with the old chain gang in Granada in February!

I may add in some organized centuries as well because we have a bunch of great ones in Maine.
