7/16/19 I am outta here and headed to Granada! I've got a job lined up and just need to find a place to live which shouldn't be too hard. My wife will join me in September because she can't be away from Casco Bay during the summer sailing season. I'll be sure to check in here regularly and let you all know how it's going. I'm going to be getting a place with a couple of spare rooms so if you are in need of a training camp - get in touch and we'll make it happen. You can reach me here or at davechirayath@gmail.com. As for bikes - I've sold almost everything, including most of my shop equipment since it will be hard to move. I'm just bringing the essentials and my beloved Merlin. Once there I plan on getting a mountain bike from a friend's shop for both MTB and gravel riding. The dream is coming true and I cannot wait!! /brag

Nice work Dave.
I'll definitely be around at some point. But it'll be a few years so hang in there. I know that must be tough haha.

Thanks CK. The dream is finally coming true and I can hardly wait to be back. Not sure I'll be hanging with the fast guys like before, but I'm happy to ride with anyone there. I'm also psyched to begin mountain biking and trail riding which I have not done much of before. I'll make sure to post pics and stories here so you all can hate on me and then make plans to come over!

Update on our plans. We’re heading over early next summer so we can do all the repairs we need to do to our house and also save up more money. I’m headed back to Granada in October to make sure my work situation there is solid and I’ll be able to hit the ground running as soon as I’m there.
I was a bit disappointed not to go over this month, but you gotta make do with the cards you’re dealt.
