Any recommendations? I'm looking to build a little library. I'm specifically interested in books about the Giro d'Italia, but anything is good. Here's what I already have:

The Giro d'Italia: Coppi versus Bartali at the 1949 Tour of Italy by Dino Buzzati

Uphill Battle: Cycling's Great Climbers by Owen Mulholland

The Eagle of the Canavese: Franco Balmamion and the Giro d'Italia by Herbie Sykes

VeloNews Facts and Figures: A Handbook of Cycling Statistics

The Little Book of Cycle Racing: The World's Greatest Races by Jon Stroud

Not a lot, but I just started this little library recently/.

All my books are in storage, so I am wishy-washy on titles.

- I have a couple of Graham Watson books (I think one about classics and one about Grand Tours).
- "Inside the Tour de France" by David Walsh (Velonews press, possibly out of print?)
- "The Quotable Cyclist" - good collection of quotes
- When I was younger I enjoyed reading a cycling novel by Hans Blickensdoerfer, one of the best sports journalists in Germany. It has been translated (called something like "Where the Northwind blows"). The German title was much better ("Salt in the coffee" - referring to all the French women who would cry over their morning coffee while reading that Poulidor lost again...) I don't know how well the translation is done, though. In retrospect, the book strikes me for two things: It was written before Jan Ullrich started his career, and there at least some similarities; It was also written before the 1989 Tour (in 1983) and at some point in the race there was a difference between the first and second guy of eight seconds...
- and in German: "Meine Lieblingstouren" ("My favorite routes") by Jan Ullrich - written  when he was living around here, so describes some nice routes around the Black Forest.
