And cover your ears so you don't suffer hearing loss. What is it with the cruiser types that they have to be so loud? I've heard the safety argument, but as far as I know that's never been substantiated. Some of it is narcissism (hey look at me, I'm such a badass with my loud pipes) and perhaps some is just fitting in to the tribe.
Another truism: if you get passed by an old driver or anyone in an older model Buick, there will be several cars immediately behind them.

Best sticker I ever saw was at a BMW motorcycle dealership "If loud pipes saves lives, just think of how much safer you'd be with proper trainer and proper gear"
