we just started watching it from the very beginning, but in all honesty it "goes downhill like concrete", as simoni once said of basso's descending skills. not sure we can hang with it if they keep milking a hamster every episode. |

Really, Entheo? God i was hooked from the first episode. Got to watch seasons 1-4 uninterrupted.....I was like a junkie looking for a score. I really wished they had ended the show after Season 4....it was THAT good. The first half of Season 5 was good, but a bit of a let down from 4. But oh-sweet-mother-of-all-that-is-holy......the second half is SO FOOKIN' GOOD. Vince agilligan and crew have done a masterful job, especially the last 2 weeks. Last night? Oh man.....so hard to watch but so compelling. BB may have officially taken the spot as my best TV show ever. |

Oh yeah. I DVR'd Sunday night's episode but had band practice last night so tonight I will watch it. Holy moly it's an entertaining show. I'll admit, it had some lag spots, but overall really well done. Agree about end of season 4, it really could have ended there. But, the second half of season 5 has taken it to a new level of crazed.
Anyone see the Jimmy Fallon spoof "Joking Bad"? If not, Google it. 13 minutes of funny. There was also a great spoof back around X-mas called Baking Bad where the Walt and Jessie characters were baking fruit cakes to sell for X-mas. Really, really funny. |

The long suffering Mrs and I did a Netflix binge watch a few winters ago and have been hooked ever since. If you like a show where the entire arc takes place in 45 minutes, this isn't your show. There have been some epic characters and some great writing during its time. I kinda like how some of the characters have descended into something they were not at the beginning of the show |

jrt....word is that there will be a "Better Call Saul" spin-off. VG & Sony have approved moving ahead with it....no official word from AMC on picking it up, but it looks very positive form what I have read. Would be more of a prequel than an extension of BB. |

We had some friends who sold it to us just like Cosmic so we got the first few eps on NF. I felt it was so-so and my wife hated it. We are trying "Game of Thrones" now. Not bad so far. |

What makes the show is the confused goals of Walter White. He starts out just wanting to make money to tide his family over if he dies of cancer, but when that proves easy enough he moves up the food chain. But he is a fish out of water and freaks out every time someone physically threatens him or to expose him, but has to keep going because there is no going back. Finally, after finding he can get away with murder, indeed multiple murders, he develops full fledged megalomania and wants it all. But again, everything spooks him and he constantly freaks out, then figures he has to take it up a notch to eliminate the threat. A never-ending spiral. You figure he has to meet his end in this thing, but the opening scene of the current run was telling - an M60 machine gun in the car trunk. As one blogger put it, "Mr Chekhov demands that gun be used." |
