Brilliant ending. No huge "OMG" moments, but the ending was executed perfectly and all loose ends were tied up.

Kudos (and major thanks) to Vince Gilligan for one (if not the) best show on TV ever.

Really well done with great twists and no cop outs. And one perfect payback.

OK, I got the Ricin part almost correct, just the wrong people drinking it. Also the M60 being used on the Arians, albeit via remote control. Surprises to me (although brilliant) was the Schwartz's being enlisted to help get the $$$ back to the family, Jessie exacting his revenge on Todd, and Skyler allowing Walt back into her life one last time. Also Walt's admission as to his real motivation....excellent. There was, I believe, one loose end not tied up....Jessie's now-deceased girlfriend's kid.

Brilliant writing, acting and directing. Good ending, tied up all the loose ends. i can't remember getting so hooked on a t.v. show.

Thanks to NetFlix we were able to catch up with all the episodes from the beginning.
I hope Vince Gilligan has another project waiting in the wings.

My fav character I was Mike, played by Jonathan Banks. Role of a lifetime for an old character actor.

@ rnddude.....Brook was the one aspect that was perfectly tied up (although, IIRC, Brook was her brother, not her kid). Anyway, he likely would have been put into the system following Andrea's murder, so it was wrapped up in a sense I suppose.

That said, in my little extended finale, Jesse grabbed Brook and hightailed it out of town.

@ zoot - Mike was, IMO, one of the best, if not THE best, character in a character-driven show (which says something). Banks played him to perfection. A man who had lost everything (including as Banks himself noted, his soul) and had accepted that.

"Elliott, if we are gonna go that way, you are gonna need a bigger knife." Great line delivered to perfection....with just the right amount of exhaustion and certainty.

kid, you are right, brother not son. If anyone watched the "talking breaking bad" show after the finale where they talked with the cast and Vince Gilligan, the issue came up when they were asking various cast members where Jessie was likely going after escaping the compound, and Banks (Mike) said "I know where he was going...to pick up Brook!" So I guess he agreed with you on that one!

Yeah, I've been watching TB all season. Forget if I had mentioned it in this thread or not, but my guess (hope) was that Jesse survived and ended up with Brock, so I was glad someone else thought the same.

Jonathon Banks' comments last night were great.....one of the best character actors (remember him in Beveryly Hills Cop?) in the role of a lifetime for him and he knew it would be the pinnacle of his career.
