Just finished this bike, Tom Ritchey P-29'er, version 1.0 right now, single speed, fully rigid, 21lbs, maybe 1x10 in the future, and then maybe a front shock, but I'm kind of loving it just the way it is, it's pretty sweet, love it when it builds up just as you imagined.

Man that looks like a blast to ride. Sweet. I had a Karate Monkey set up like that for awhile with a pace carbon rigid fork. I used it in the back/trail roads in Golden Gate Park. I ended up going multi speed with front shock then giving it to my son since I wasn't using it any longer. I should have kept it single speed with the pace fork. This was after I screwed it up and converted it to 1x9.

I am no steel is real kind of guy, but there are a very few steel bikes that I would consider and the Ritchey there is one of them. Chromag surface is the it her. Classic paint scheme too. But what are those white things on the step below? Looks like fancy foot rests for a shoe shine set up.

Thanks Guys!!!. This bike is getting better and better the more I ride it, and the more familiar I become with the bike. I did swap the flat Easton bar for one with a riser, and now it is perfect, and damn this thing is quick. This is one of the coolest bikes I have ever owned. @ longslowdistance, we had this artist that we sold a Pivot to bring by these crazy surfboards, they look great as a back drop eh?!! OF, I'm not a steel is real kind of guy either, but this bike is just a classic looking ride. That is an antique shoe shine stand we have in the front of the shop, it's pretty cool, a great place to sit and watch the world go by, and now with these surf boards, it makes a great place to take pics of the bikes we have been building as of late. @ spud, it's at eight complete, and few projects in pieces, sold my 26" dual suspension bike, picked up a new cruiser for the wife, and then built this up, so it stayed about the same Here's the build list Ritchey frame and carbon fork of course Wet Red Ritchey stem Easton EC70 Carbon riser bar Thomson Masterpiece seat post Ritchey Streem WCS Saddle Race Face Turbine crank Magura MT4 brakes in white with 160mm rotors Azonic Wheels with Tioga Psycho tires DT Swiss skewers Easton Grips I'm saving up some funds for a high end set of wheels, SRAM, or Stan's? maybe build something up? So with lighter wheels, and lighter tires, I think I can get this to 19lbs? We'll see, I'll keep you guys posted
