How many guys in an mtb race carry a 15mm hex wrench to take off their front wheel in the event of a flat front tire, should they have a 15mm through axle?  Even with tubeless there is the possibility of the need for a tube.  Am I missing a solution, or do racers carry a 15mm wrench with them and deal with a really slow wheel removal?

Mine is quick release and requires no wrench. No nut on the other side thread into the fork.

All the 15 mm through axles are quick release. One end of the 15 mm diameter axle is threaded, the other has a QR. IT is the exact same principal as a regular qr except the nut portion is built into the fork end. No wrenches required. Even the 20 mm heavier duty through axles require no tools to remove.
