Richard Freeman (Sky doctor) getting a 4 year ban for events that were first publicized in 2011.

Losing his medical license in a swifter (but not swift) evaluation likely was by far more devastating. The later UCI semijoke 4 year ban might matter as well, maybe a little. Context: a doctor who can't be a doctor usually is in a deep deep hole. Spent their twenties (well late teens and most of their twenties in the UK system) learning a very difficult trade. Those skills can translate into other trades, but that asterisk may damn him. In his favor, decades of neglect has left the UK's public health service in dire straits, so they may find a role for him anyway. I hope so, cancel culture results in so much unnecessary wasted talent.

UKAD not UCI. Anti doping has been arm’s length from UCI for some time as it should be.

The events happened in 2011 ( around time on London Ole Games which is not at all a coincidence) but were only investigated in 2016 I think. Still a long timeline.
