To me there is more than a little truth in what he says re the UCI and Minister Fudge, aka McQ. The other stuff seems to be getting a little closer to reality. Still somewhat revisionist about fighting people on and off the bike. He was more than a sporting adversary to many contemporaries. But it seems the first time I have heard him demonstrate some self-understanding ie that he is/was a pathologic bully/competitor and had to annihilate anyone/anything that stood in his way. |

The two least magnanimous people on the face of the earth have found each other. Exhale. |

Levi might disagree that Usada's Reasoned Decision affected no one other than LA. |

Magnanimos? That's a nice, fancy word, you can't use a world like that to describe two arsholes. Obviously I don't know what was actually said but based on what I have read LA said that you couldn't win the TdF when he did if you didn't dope. Now reporters are asking riders at the 2013 TdF press conference what they think about LA saying that THEY can't win the TdF unless they are doped. Whatever it takes to make a headline I guess huh?! I agree with jrt, don't give us the victim BS LA! But I agree with LA that there are a lot of dopers out there, many still riding, who aren't being called out. |

Bobke reported this am what he claimed was a general consensus among the cycling press that about 10% are doping now, compared with 90% a few years ago. Of course there's no way to prove this, but the observation is interesting. And maybe optimistic. Even if "now only 10% of the peloton dopes" is correct., you can be sure it's a higher % among the top finishers. |

I think what they test for and what folks are doing are two different things. I would say 50/50 at this point and half that's doping is doing something way more dangerous and physically life altering than the blood bags, EPO and roids of the past Bobke gobbled you know who's remaining you know what for so long I find it hard to listen to anything he may say or observe. Same with Phil and Paul. They all need to go out to pasture |

You guys missed the most important quote of the article, when Armstrong is asked about the latest accusations hurled at Jalabert- “I respect Jalabert but he is just lying at the moment. He knows very well that Michele Ferrari was ONCE’s team doctor in the nineties.” This is the first time Armstrong has ever said anything about anyone that aided and abetted his fraud. I truly believe this comment is going to be a game-changer. Further, his tit-for-tat with "Fat" Pat McQuaid is getting more and more pointed, especially with THIS zinger-
Looking to the upcoming UCI president election, he said, “I believe that the nomination of Brian Cookson offers a refreshing alternative. We’ll see. Cycling needs new leadership to regain trust and credibilty. Things simply can’t change if McQuaid stays and I told him that.”
