Even if CH is doped to the gills and running from the testers there is a protocol to follow and I'm pretty sure that step two isn't alert the media. Dirty testers suck almost as much as dirty racers. If he did indeed alert them to his change of location, they should be held accountable!

They should be held accountable anyway. Until all the dust has settled, alerting the media is bull. Further, procedures should be in place so there are no flags the media can see until everything is settled. (The Floyd Landis case where his team told the media after the "A" positive because Landis would not be allowed to ride the post-Tour Criteriums.)

In this case, the testers should be heavily censured, preferably monetarily because that carries weight.

I am for tough drug controls and sentences but also good, clean, ethical monitoring.

and on the lighthearted side - I did a week of BS testing. Yes, literally. At Cycle Oregon. Actually, we called it CP, cow paddies, but it is the same stuff. We camped in it at 3 of our sites, one for two nights. Many of our rest stops also.

BS is alive and well in south eastern Oregon. You will have to take my word for it. I chose not to bring back any though I could have easily.

As I noted in the other thread, the whole idea of testing him the day after the race ended is just silly. Not like he was gonna top off his reserves Sunday night.

If he was doping during the race, the best chance to have caught him would have been after his stage wins, after taking the jersey or a random test DURING the race.

Just say "NO!" to WCP!!!!

BS from USADA. They claim that neither they nor the Spanish agency told the media. Who the H else knew about it? It had to be them. Or if they are playing silly games, they told someone who then leaked it to the media. Either way its crap.

I'm claiming an "I called this" from the other thread: 09/15/2013 04:02 PM Quote Reply Alert What next for Chris Horner? Doping controls so frequent he'll be anemic. Haters and doubters rule. -- The righteous will have their way! --
