The official race bible of the Giro is known as the Garibaldi (there's a historical reference there). It's given to journalists and everyone else following the race and in the caravan. It's also available for download by everyone, and I think you will all enjoy it. It's in English as well as in Italian. http://www.gazzetta.it/Giroditalia/2014/download/Garibaldi%202014%20LOW.pdf

Thanks for the link. My wife and I are going to Italy next year in April or May. I'll show this to my wife to persuade her to go in May, and try to catch a stage. My daughter will over there and she speaks Italian.

That's a lot of pink! And at 234 pages, nearly as long as the bible.
Ireland has come a long way in the past 20 years or so. It was not long ago that having a big time bike race in Belfast was impossible.
