Dammit, Dale - what's the throat lozenge reference?

Make me feel out of touch...

The throat lozenge reference is to Gibo Simoni's cocaine positive, which he said was caused by eating lozenges brought back from Peru by his aunt who went there on vacation. Everyone thought it was a ridiculous excuse, but....my husband and I stayed at a farm touring place in Palù, Simoni's little home town, where everyone knows everyone. The owner of the place told us that it was indeed true that the aunt brought the lozenges back, and she gave them to lots of people in town, including him.

Nice. Drool.

I'll have some Haleakala pics for you next week (0-10,000 ft in 50k) but the conditions were epic and the views non-existent. Never knew you could get this cold and wet around here.

not sure if anyone recognized it, but my photo above is of the stelvio -- I think Chinook just photo-shopped the stelvio onto a Peruvian hillside.

Very cool resemblance, Stronz. Remind us when you were at the Stelvio.
I gotta get these kids out of the house so I can take some of these trips...

been to the Stelvio on many occasions. In my dreams. Never actually in person. Seen so many photo from this angle that the Peruvian vista reminded me. Funny how similar
