As Dave Towle once said about crashes in the Cat 4's and Cat 5's, "Lots of crashes but if you want to see the good stuff watch the Cat 3's. They crash all the time too but there're going a lot faster!"
I laughed so hard I hurt... literally, I had just broken my collarbone in a crash.... in the Cat 3's
But yeah, that save at the end.

No, no, no.... that was the crash in November. Raced the Cat 3's instead of the Masters 50+
I'm pretty much mended and cleared to ride outside now.

Yeah, that craziness even made the TV News here in Albuquerque. Scary!
There's a road with really low old fashioned guardrail about 30 feet over the interstate that I ride on sometimes. I always stay a few feet from it, and am very conscience of not only what would happen if I fell, but then being hit by the traffic below!

whoa!! NIck, there are a bunch of overpasses like that in New Mexico, I think about that all of the time, plus it's kind of freaky to look down over that rail!
