I miss Meridian....loved doing that back in the day.

Was out in Denver in late August 2018 and got to go out and ride it again. Was in the best shape of my life, so was looking forward to going back and mix it up....until the elevation kicked in. Tried to go with a move, went anaerobic, could not recover and blew up spectacularly....sat out a lap and rode smarter. had no problems after that, but I simply had to keep the needle out of the red.

Boys still be fast....an old buddy of mine, Chris Stout, is still a regular out there (and a regular animator, I guess).
Just say "NO!" to WCP!!!!

CK, I get my butt handed to me on a regular basis, I don't have any top end so I've accepted that sitting out a lap here and there throughout the hour is the new normal for me...
Chris Stout was a teammate of mine (Valdoro Mountain Lodge cycling team in the early 2000s)! Small world.

Riding in pace lines is looking like a thing to avoid for now. Snot rockets only at the back, please.
